You will see this warning if you select the block name from the list. Because of this reason, you save the block in master file.

You need to type the exact block name in the block name field. Whenever you need it, you can simply insert it to your drawing.

The block attribute modification includes: ATTSYNC allow you to select individual block to sync, or you can type block name to update all block with defined name.

After you sync the block attributes, you will see the updated attributes in your blocks.

As you modify an attribute, you can specify whether the change is applied only to new insertions, or also to all existing block references in the current drawing (the default).

If you elect not to apply changes to existing references, you update, or synchronize, the references later using the Sync button in the block Attribute Manager or the ATTSYNC command.
